This is where it all began. Qantas Frequent Flyer has seen extraordinary success since launching in 1987. Today, more than nine million members enjoy the program, rewarding themselves with more than four million Award seats and gift cards redeemed through the Frequent Flyer store every year.
Members earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points when purchasing products and services from our range of over 450 partners, including airlines, major Australian banks and leading retailers, as well as hotels, car hire companies and foreign exchange services.
Points can be redeemed for a wide variety of rewards, including Award flights to over 1,000 destinations around the world with Qantas, our partner airlines and their affiliates, Qantas Club membership (to gain airline lounge access when travelling on eligible flights), or for more than 3,500 products and gift cards in our Australian online store.
Qantas Frequent Flyer also manages and facilitates the status and recognition program of Qantas Airways.
When flying on eligible flights, in addition to Qantas Frequent Flyer points, members can also earn Status credits, which open the door to a wide range of travel benefits and services as members reach their next membership level. Status is a critical element of the success of the program as a whole, with a direct correlation between earning Status credits and the desire for Qantas Frequent Flyer points.
